London Marathon 2018-Hottest on record!
Lucy and Rich are running the 2018 London Marathon. We were unlucky with the ballot and as the Walton Centre don't have any Charity marathon places we have decided to run for the Stroke Association, another cause very close to our hearts.
We will be fundraising right up to April 22nd 2018 with a number of ideas.
Our "training" runs will include the Mad Dog 10k in Southport and the Great North West Half in Blackpool. If you see us give us a wave!
Tunnel 10k -7 days to London Marathon!
Lucy and Rich are next running the Liverpool Tunnel 10k which runs through the Mersey Tunnel on Sunday 15th April 2018 in preparation for the London Marathon.
Lucy and Rich are next running the Liverpool half marathon on Sunday 25th March in preparation for the London Marathon.
Lucy and Rich are next running the Great North West half marathon on Feb 18th 2018 in preparation for the London Marathon.
Lucy and Rich are running the Mad Dog 10k on Sunday 4th Feb 2018 in preparation for the London Marathon. We'll be wearing the Jemma T-shirts again, if you see us give us a wave!
The 2nd Jemma Race Night
The 2017 Race Night was another huge success and enjoyed by many new supporters of the Walton Centre. We thank you all for the £3,030 that was raised
Walton Centre Letter
The Walton Centre Charity wrote to us to advise they have received the £6843.99 from the Race Night and they calculate the total to be over £22k.as at Sep 2016
Three Peaks Challenge
An elite team of 14 athletic types from Jemma's family and friends have climbed the three biggest mountains in the UK, Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in 24hrs. Starting at 4pm on Thursday 18th August with the snow on Ben Nevis and finishing in the sun on Snowdon at 4pm on the 19th, this was a trial of endurance and included a nightime ascent on Scafell. Jemma Cottier Race Night
Our Charity Race Night in memory of Jemma Cottier, on the 20th August at the Vincent Hotel was a great night enjoyed by 150 party goers. After collecting all the funds the final total was £6,843.99 Thank you to all who made this possible.
